I wish I lived in an aquarium. I wish I could spend every day surrounded by that beautiful blue-green world, where nature’s laws don’t matter. I want to lie in a room with water to the skies and watch dappled sunlight ripple across my skin.
Let’s get Lost
The youth of today- what have we become? Roaming the streets in hours of late, eyes on the skies and minds blazing.
Neon lights blurring till colour clouds my vision and the night doesn’t exist. Distant memories of tomorrow’s reality flicker through my subconscious.
The cold is biting at my face.
And now, lying down, the ice seeps through the ground, and I’m certain that I know my place.
The discomfort of youth and the pain of adolescence merely a page in our lives.
And that kiss which lasted for a lifetime of moments, tasting of ash and pouring stolen air into your lungs, will fade.
The youth of today- living in the moment and forgetting all that’s left, releasing strands of reality to a moon under which none of us sleep.
Not anymore.
We’re bringing the sex back to rock n roll.
